Text-Messaging More Popular Than Calling, Study Finds

Text messaging is fast devouring voice calls. As mobile habits are changing fast so are the ways in which we express ourselves. Developing software like T9 dictionary on mobile phones has hastened the drift evermore. I think this is largely because of our proclivity to let the thumb do what the tongue is supposed to. Anyhow, companies like Nuance Corp. are working on automatic text software, making it easier for users to slot text in. I think, in a way, it’s good if the anticipated target is to avoid extinction of language in its most prominent form i.e. textual or in black and white.

With phones like black berry, people are able to write messages as if they are typing on a laptop. Text message is a new way of communication to express ourselves. http://www.latest-mobilephones.com/
