Tesco: £19 VX1i Party Handset is “surprise hit”
Tesco Mobile consumers are ostracism its higher-end handsets in favour of a cut-rate and cheery £18.99 mobile angled as ideal for “forgetful” (read: sloshed) party-goers.
The VX1i Party Handset is presently one of the operator’s best-selling phones with sales of over 10,000 units in the two weeks leading equal to the New Year alone.
The phone, which gazes alike it could be a Hop-On effort, while that is chastely speculative, is presented on a SIM-free basis, and according to the CEO of Tesco Mobile was developed as “an affordable replacement, temporary phone or alternative to a more expensive phone”.

Alternatively, maybe customers fed up with the high cost, normally poor battery existence and over-complicated feature sets of modern handsets are chosing to de-tech with an extra simple option.
