NVIDIA’s CEO Jen-Hsun Huang newly made the announcement that he needs Tegra to be 50% of the business’s income in the imminent years. It seems like not only does he wants this to occur, but the engineers functioning on the Tegra project are also dedicated to this objective. By the release of the initial Tegra and its insertion in Microsoft’s Zune HD we got an initial glance at the clout behind this thought.

However what is more for the first time NV really unconfined a road map for merchandise. They proved us just before the Zune HD where they intended on going. On this map was an entrance tagged Tegra 2 2010. At the instance my thoughts were that we would see this roughly the end of 2010 (Q3 at the earliest). It appears like might be way off the blot. In place of waiting for Q3 NVIDIA could be affectation Tegra 2 the instant January 2010. This preface would be at CES with the petite diminutive computer being shown off functioning in Mobile Internet Devices (MIDs) smart phones, and Personal Media Players.

Although the facts on the Tegra 2 are squat we do have NVIDIA’s allege that it will be double the command of the novel Tegra (huge bombshell). To the extent that gossips go, well there are heaps of them. We hear there will be two Dual Core Arm Cortex (11) CPUs dual GT200 based GPUs (perhaps for SLI or to enable Cuda speeding up or Physx) over and above horde of other traits. All told the future of Tegra 2 looks thrilling.
