Sony Ericsson Xperia Panels is certainly an interesting concept, but you generally don’t see too many innovations on it, unlike the seemingly unlimited number of iPhone applications. The Growing Panel for the Xperia is certainly one of the rare innovations for the Panels interface, and an interesting one at that. Instead of using the boring old icons to notify you, it has an interactive garden on your Panel, which uses different methods to notify you. For example, the flowers in the center of the panel would represent, emails, text messages and phone calls. The bloomed flower indicates that you have a missed on. The single stem plant on the left indicates the battery life, and when the phone is plugged in, there will be a glow at the bottom of said plan. There are a few other different notifications, so it certainly looks interesting. It looks like something that everybody would happily download and try out.
