Samsung S3030 Eco announced in Netherlands
Samsung and T-Mobile have announced a new eco phone, dubbed Samsung S3030 Eco and available as of yesterday (July 2) in the Netherlands.
The S3030 Eco is a remake of the Samsung S3030 Tobi slider, which was announced by Sammy back in November 2008 as a phone for kids.
Made out of bio-plastic, the S3030 Eco is free of BFR (brominated flame retardants) and PVC. Its charger is an eco-friendly one, while its packaging is 100% made from recyclable materials.
The new phone features MP3 player, FM radio, photo camera (probably a 1.3MP one), and MicroSD card support, up to 8 GB.
T-Mobile Netherlands is offering the Samsung S3030 Eco for €89.95 on pre-pay. No word yet if the phone will be available in other countries – although it probably will be.
