New G1 batteries already on their way?
While there is no official confirmation yet, some users are reporting that they’ve received the G1 replacement batteries that were rumored a while ago. Apparently the new battery is rated at 1400 mAh, which is a little bit higher than the 1150 mAh of the current battery. The good news is that the battery is still able to fit in with the original back cover, so users won’t have to swap the back cover of their G1. It’s a little surprising to hear such news without an official announcement, so you might want to take this with a pinch of salt until we manage to dig up an official confirmation on this.
