ICQ For Windows Mobile
Here’s something you really don’t expect to see in 2009. ICQ for Windows Mobile? ICQ for Symbian might have been received a little better many years ago, but it’s hard to see anybody actively using ICQ on Windows Mobile. Sure, it was insanely popular back then, but it has since fallen so far behind the pack, we’re not sure if we can find 10 people who are still using it. That being said, if you for some obscure reason are still using ICQ, AOL has come up with an early beta for ICQ for Windows Mobile, which is free for download. Known issues that are related to the beta include:
* Add Contact feature not yet implemented.
* Search for contact not yet implemented.
* Nickname field is empty when a contact with its ICQ number as nickname is edited.
* Profile information is displayed as unknown when no information is present for the contact.
* Unknown publisher warning present during installation of application.

A lot of people still using ICQ! Not in the US of course. ICQ was never big thing in the US. However, Europe, Russia, Asia, people who started using ICQ 5-10 years ago, still using it. There so many messengers that can use ICQ protocols. And it’s nice that I can use it on my phone now.
