Firmware For Android Has Been Hacked

8th Feb, 2009 | 1 Comment | Posted in News

hacked-firmware-androidNot too fond of the official firmware for your G1? Well, you could always try the custom firmware, JF, which has been recently updated to reflect the new features of the G1 RC-33 update. This custom firmware has features such as multi-touch, auto-rotate and some other goodies. One thing to note is that this custom firmware doesn’t include the radio update, which was deliberately left as a separate update. As usual, remember that flashing your phone to a custom firmware is a dangerous thing, so don’t blame us (or anybody else) if you accidentally brick your phone in the process.
