China Gets Internet Explorer 6 First

IE6 might and might not be in demand, depending on where you loyalties lie, but either way, it looks like Microsoft is going to announce the availability of Internet Explorer 6 on China Mobile’s Samsung Omnia at the Mobile Asia Congress that is being held in Macau. Apparently China Mobile was chosen as the first operator to get it because Microsoft is hoping to tap on the vast growth in the new mobile users in the country. Are you eagerly waiting for Internet Explorer 6, or praying hard that it doesn’t replace the pre-installed Opera Mobile 9.5 in the phone?
