Alltel has released its Alltel Mobile Email application, which allows subscribers to access their web-based email, contacts and calendar events via their Windows Mobile smartphones or via selected Alltel handsets. The application supports email services such as AOL, Hotmail, Yahoo! and is also compatible with Microsoft Outlook Web Access (OWA). Alltel Mobile E-mail will be bundled on Windows Mobile smartphones such as the HTC Touch Pro, HTC Touch Diamond, HTC PPC 6800, HTC Touch, Motorola Q, Motorola Q9c and the Palm Treo 700wx. Some of the non-Windows-Mobile phones that are supported include the Samsung Delve, LG Scoop, Samsung Hue, MotoRAZR V3a and the MotoK1m.
